Zeus:The ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder. His symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull and oak.



Hera
:The wife and older sister of Zeus. Her chief function was as goddess of women and marriage, her equivalent in Roman mythology being Juno. The cow and, later, the peacock were sacred to her.



Poseidon
:The god of the sea, as well as of horses, and, as "Earth-Shaker," of earthquakes, and the brother of Zeus and Hades.



Demeter
:Is the goddess of grain and fertility, the pure nourisher of the youth and the green earth, the health-giving cycle of life and death, and preserver of marriage and the

Ares:Is the son of Zeus and Hera. Though often referred to as the Olympian god of warfare, he is more accurately the god of savage warfare, bloodlust or slaughter


Hermes
:Is the Olympian god of boundaries and of the travelers who cross them, of shepherds and cowherds, of thieves and road travelers, of orators and wit, of literature and poets, of athletics, of weights and measures, of invention, of general commerce, and of the cunning of thieves and liars.


Hephaestus.:Is the god of technology, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes.



Aphrodite
: Is the classical Greek goddess of love, lust, beauty, and sexual reproduction.


Athena:Is the shrewd companion of heroes and the goddess of heroic endeavor, goddess of war and wisdom.


Apollo:Is one of the most important and many-sided of the Olympian deities,recognized as a god of light and the sun; truth and prophecy; archery; medicine and healing; music, poetry, and the arts; and more. Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto, and has a twin sister, the chaste huntress Artemis.


Artemis:Is the daughter of Zeus and Leto, and the twin sister of Apollo. She was the Hellenic goddess of forests and hills, and was often depicted carrying a bow and arrows.

Hestia:Is the goddess of the hearth, of the right ordering of domesticity and the family, who received the first offering at every sacrifice in the household
